Star Fire is a Solvent Based, Intumescent fireproofing Material for steel structures, concrete and other constrution material Star Fire is fireproof coating Specifically desinged for Interion exterior applications in demanding eniroments Star Fire meets all ASTM-E119-05A/07, BS 476 pt 21 regulations and contains No asbestos. It may be applied by sprey trowel, or brush.

The Substrate should be clean, dry and free from grease and oil
THE SOCIETY FOR PROTECTIVE COATING (SSPC)
1.) SSPC - SP 1 Solvent Cleaning
2.) SSPC - SP 2 Hand Tool Cleaning
3.) SSPC - SP 3 Power Tool Cleaning
4.) SSPC - SP 6 Commercial Blast Cleaning
Mix to a uniform consistencey before using. It needed, thin with Xylene Solvent 3-5% by volume.
Normal Drying time for STAR FIRE at a 3 Hours (Dry to recoat), 24 Hours (Dry to touch) at condition 70°F (21°C) and 50% relatione humidity and final cure in 5 days at same conditions. (These times are dependent on thickness, humidity and temperature)
The following equipment is recommended as a guide and suitable equipment from other manufacturer ' s maybe use. Adjustment of pressure and tip size maybe need to achieve the spray characteristic.
Industrial equipment such as GRACO 800 Air spray gun. Separate Air and fluid pressure regulators, mechanical pot agitapor and moisture trap in the main air supply line are recommended.
BRUSH AND ROLLER
Roller and brushing are the most recommended and economical application method which are widely used brushing leaves a uni-directional fine texture.
Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Wear suitable protective clothing such as overalls, goggles, dust marks and gloves. Use a barrier cream if possible. Ensuse adequate ventilation during application. Keep out
of reach of children.
